Outdoor Camping
Campouts are one of the best things about Cub Scouts! It's easy camping - the pack provides food and fun activities, you just bring your tent and other necessities. Camping with the den and pack provides valuable opportunities to build skills and have fun. Pack 136 will plan outdoor overnight pack-wide camping experiences at Boxwell Reservation, a BSA facility in Wilson County, TN; as well as other locations. The pack camping trips may include fishing and other outdoor recreation activities. There is no cost to our families to attend the camping trips, as funds generated from our Popcorn sales cover the total expense, including meals.

Indoor Camping
Indoor camping experiences range from overnight stays at the Huntsville, Alabama Space Center to occasional events in cave attractions or science centers. Revenue earned from popcorn sales helps to offset the additional fees associated with these outings and may allow for stipends to scouts who meet specified sales targets. Stay tuned for notices from the Outings Chair, as well as Den Leaders, regarding these camping trips. For more information about camping, or to help plan the trips, please speak to our Outings Chair.
