Leader Training

The BSA requires online leadership training in my.scouting.org for every leader and pack committee member. Training classes you complete will be tracked and synced in Scoutbook.

The courses to complete are:

Youth Protection Training - MUST be complete before you begin holding Den Meetings or any Den/Pack events, outings or meetings

Instructions:

Go to http://my.scouting.org (recommended browsers are Chrome for PC or Safari for MAC)

Enter your login name and password (same as used in Scoutbook)

Click on the corresponding logo for each training:

DEN LEADERS - Select Program Specific Training > CS19-Cub Scouting > CS19 Den Leader Training

​Den Leader Training is broken into 4 sections: Before the First Meeting, Before Your FIrst Outdoor Activity, Earning Your Training Strip, and Den Leader Training.

*It is recommended that you print or save a .pdf of the certificates on the rare chance that your training doesn’t get recorded properly.

Any adult is welcome to take online training. They are not restricted to Leadership members.
