- 2 min read

Selling popcorn isn't just about raising money—it's about building skills that last a lifetime. Through Pack 136's annual popcorn fundraiser, Scouts learn how to set goals, speak confidently with others, handle money responsibly, and persevere through challenges. Every dollar earned supports our Pack's adventures throughout the year, and every sale helps Scouts grow into capable, confident leaders.
Popcorn Kickoff
Date: Tuesday, September 1
Time: 6:30–7:30 PM
Location: Lipscomb Elementary School Cafeteria
At our kickoff meeting you'll receive everything you need to have a successful popcorn season, including:
Parent guide
Scout sales materials
Information about the Trails End app
Prize and incentive details
Storefront sign-up information
Tips for reaching your Scout's sales goal
Whether you're a returning family or selling popcorn for the first time, we'll walk you through the process and answer all your questions.
How to Sell Popcorn
There are several easy ways for Scouts to participate:
1. Online Sales
Share your Scout's personalized Trails End fundraising page with family and friends. Adding a personal message or short video is a great way to increase sales.
2. Wagon Sales
Scouts can sell directly to neighbors, family, and friends around their community. This is a great opportunity to practice communication skills while working toward individual sales goals.
3. Storefront Sales
One of the fastest ways to reach your goal! Scouts can sign up for storefront shifts with another Scout at local businesses throughout the community. Storefront schedules and sign-ups will be shared after the kickoff meeting.
Scout Responsibilities
To help make every sale a success, Scouts should remember to:
Wear their Class A Uniform
Smile and be friendly to every customer
Collect payment at the time of the sale (when applicable)
Always say "Thank you!"
Have fun! A positive attitude goes a long way.
Getting Started with the Trails End App
The Trails End app makes selling popcorn simple.
At the kickoff meeting we'll cover:
Downloading the Trails End app
Creating your parent account
Registering your Scout
Accessing your online sales page
Signing up for storefront shifts
Tracking your Scout's progress throughout the fundraiser
Our popcorn team will be available to help anyone who needs assistance getting set up.
