Fall Pack Hike
Pack 136 Fall Hike is the perfect way for Scouts and their families to hit the trail, breathe in the crisp autumn air, and experience the outdoors together. This day hike offers a chance to explore local trails, observe nature up close, and build confidence on the path—one step at a time. With every mile, Scouts practice perseverance, teamwork, and appreciation for the world around them.

Upcoming Hike
Date: September 21, 2025
Time: 2:00PM
Location: Edwin Warner Park - Burch Reserve Trailhead (7300 Highway 100, Nashville, TN)
Dress: Pack t-shirt + comfortable walking/hiking shoes

We will meet briefly as a Pack then divide into groups by rank. All family members are welcome to attend. None of the trails are paved, and there will be some hills.

What to Pack
In a bag that can be carried by your scout, the Cub Scout Six Essentials of Hiking: sun protection, water, snack, first aid kit, whistle, and flashlight. All that is needed for the first aid kit is a few band-aids and antibiotic ointment. You may also want to bring bug spray.

What to Expect
We will first gather as a Pack at the trailhead, then split up by rank level for two different hike routes to spread out and to provide a longer hike opportunity for older scouts.

Lions, Tigers, and Wolves: 1 mile hike
Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light: 3 mile hike

What to Wear
Scouts should plan to wear their Pack t-shirt along with comfortable walking shoes. Shorts or pants are both fine, but keep in mind the weather is usually still quite warm at the end of September and we’ll be hiking on unpaved trails in the park.
